Story Update2The next few days were hellish. I missed a lot of school time because I had to meet with police and give them an account of what happened, because I was an eye witness and I could help the police "catch the criminals," apparently. Then everyone started asking why I was missing so often, and when I told them that I had to talk to the police, they thought it was because I had gotten in trouble and started making remarks like "Ooooooo, Christina is in trouble!" or "What have you done this time?" and it was very hard to tell them that "No, I went there because Henry got stabbed and I had to tell them what I saw." Story Update"Could...you get me...a paper?" Henry managed to say, with clear difficulty. I got up and walked over to the side of room where there was a stack of paper which was probably be going to be used to write up a diagnosis on some terminally ill patient, and I felt bad about taking the paper. I decided Henry was more important at the moment. I handed him the few sheets of paper that I had taken from the trolley. I must have been really out of it, because it took me a full three seconds to realize that Henry didn't have anything to write with. StoryAccidents happen. A lot. Of course, one would never think that something bad would happen to them. Or anyone they knew, for that matter. I mean, think about it. Have you ever actually believed that one of your best friends was gonna get seriously hurt by some weird disease? Or by getting hit by a car? I'm sure you've never imagined life after a best friend had died. Well my friends and I didn't think that anything bad would happen either. But the bad stuff has got to happen to someone, right?
